Lotte, Shinsegae, and Hyundai all run a tourist-only discount card. Stop at the info desk, hand over your passport, and walk out with 5–7% off on top of any tax refund. Stackable, free, often skipped — the locals can’t even use it.
| Store | Where | What you get |
|---|---|---|
| Lotte | 1F or B1 Information Desk (most branches) | Tourist Membership Card — 5–7% off; Myeongdong/Jamsil cards double as a transit pass. |
| Shinsegae | Foreigner Service Center, 13F (Main store, Myeongdong) | Members Card — 5% off, max 5 transactions/month, plus 2 drink coupons for the Members Bar. |
| Hyundai | Concierge desk at Apgujeong, Trade Center, Pangyo, The Hyundai Seoul, Sinchon | K-Card / vouchers — 5–10% off on participating brands. Daily caps apply. |
| Galleria | Concierge, Apgujeong East/West Wings | VIP Tourist Voucher — 5% off on luxury floors. |
Stop at the info desk first
Before you shop, find the customer-service / information desk on the ground or basement floor. Tell them “foreigner discount card, please” — they’ll ask for your passport.
Show the card at the brand counter
When paying, hand over the card with your card/cash. The cashier deducts the % automatically. Some luxury counters (Hermès, Chanel, Rolex) opt out — ask first.
Stack with the tax refund
The 5–7% foreigner discount applies first. Then the VAT tax-free refund (~5–8%) is calculated on the discounted amount. On a ₩500,000 bag, that’s typically ₩50–70k saved.
