A 1970s rice mill turned into the warehouse cafe that defined Seongsu's gallery-cafe wave.
The red-brick shell, exposed beams, steel doors, and concrete floors are kept intact, with a translucent ceiling panel that floods the main hall with daylight.
Inside it operates as cafe, bar, dining room, and rotating art gallery at once.
Two main seating areas plus a second floor looking down onto the wooden centerpiece installation, and a rooftop terrace on the third floor.
Daelim Changgo was the prototype for the wave of warehouse conversions that turned Seongsu into Seoul's design district.
Open 11am to 10pm, closed on national holidays.
